The only thing, to me, that manhuas and manhwas have on manga is that theyre usually a lot longer than manga. A lot of manga tend to be one shot stories that I would love if they became actual series. Theres only a handful of BL manga that I know of that have more than 5 volumes
I could easily survive with just mangas. I don’t know why but I prefer them over manhwas in general
Yeah it really is top tier for me. I feel like mangas are a lot more consistent. Plus I feel like the release formats of manhwas kinda contribute to rushed art. I've noticed a lot of newer manhwas are using 3d models to make releasing chapters faster and it makes the art look stiff and weird
If you had to choose one to read for the rest of your life, would you choose Manga, Manhwa or Manhua? I think I would choose manga because I really love the amount of detail that mangas usually have. I like the formatting of the pages as well, but I also like the scrollability of Manhwas when they're in a digital format. I could survive with just mangas if I had to. I like manhwa a lot but sometimes it just doesn't hit the same. I really dont read a lot of manhua so it goes to last place for me lol
