Yeah and its so stupid that she took the boots but not the pants and chopped the dress to have her legs exposed, dint pick any supplies nor the sword but a flimsy knife? Like hello, also agree that the zombie theme is not being done properly and spend more time doing useless shoujo things, so what if you fell into the floor, pick your ass up and keep running, those seduction moments are worthless in a zombie situation, they bring nothing to the table, what a slop

In the novel, the sword and shield of Kimon were taken by Paprika. She only found a paper knife there was bothibg else, actually there wasn t supposed to be food in the first room in the manhwa. In the novel they got surprised that nobody was coming to get them because it was meal time, so there wasn t anything sharp in the room except the Prince, Archduke and two bodyguards s sword and the paper knife she found and took to at least have something. And as for it breaking, that seems plausible, in this kind of situation, anyhing can happen. I would have been more surprised had it been super solid and able to do anything. But the manhwa is quite fast paced compared to the novel :(
But then in the museum room there were decoration swords and shield that could have been taken, instead she took a skull
"Decoration" blades, probably no sharpness? And if there were real swords, it s quite heavy and she has the constitution of a woman of theses times. In the novel, Mascarpone or Consomme says that her walk in the park is actually just sitting near the lake and she doesn t even walk to get there she gets dropped off by a carriage. So no exercice at all, no endurance... and there s no mention of any blade in the gallery in the novel... :/ the manhwa is... meh. It s nice to see it drawn but...
Trying to take off the pants of a corpse is quite a difficult task, plus it wouldn t fit her and would only be a bother. Cutting the dress to allow movements is the right move, even if in the manhwa they made it so short like wtf? They didn t have time to spare. The sword was picked up by Paprika and there was no supply, they were waiting for meal time (for which nobody came thus their wondering what was happening). The only things were probably drinks and fingerfood that were probably already finished by the time the story started and the only sharp thing she found was a fragile paper knife which was better than nothing but still ended up broken after that. And that was realist for that, in this kind of situation, you try to find anything to protect yourself but you re not safe from them breaking, getting lost. And yeah, the adaptation was shitty, too fast paced and not true to the novel. And I hate the way they show the zombies, the red, the "hairs" and their bodies looking like they ve been in decay for days... the bodies, even if half eaten or missing flesh should still be fresh
Huge disappointment this manhwa, it feels bland, the male leads quickly like the female leads without apparent reasons, just another one of those Isekai transmigration. Not enough tension with the zombies they just seem to be able to escape them quite easily. Zombie apocalypse works when it’s like a desperate situation where nowhere is safe. I don’t feel that when I read. Stopped at chapter 7 because it was so boring and my last straw was when FL tripped accidentally and kissed ML neck like come on really? Why?
