Even if the romance isn't moving, the plot's been moving. One or the other is always cooking, and this story has always been about a long battle of politics spanning generations, in contrast to a sweet man's simple wish. Do you just value romance way more? I can def understand that fr.
One of the main draws of this story is the politics. If what you want is a couple being lovey dovey 80% of the time, this just isn't the story for you. Those of us who stay aren't solely motivated by the couple being together, it's the mystery and thrill of the schemes. If you want, just come back for side stories. There's honestly not much in terms of romance until then.

40 chapters of duel hidden identity just to be separated the second they realize they recognize each other?!! Are we doing this??? I enjoy a good slow burn and reaaaaaally enjoy a good yearn but can’t they be together at this point?
I hate the feeling to want to skip chapters through repetitive or dragged out problems. It is a different beast from a prolonged “miscommunication” trope but similar in frustrating the audience, not making them look at the next chapter with anticipation but with anxiety.
I got to the end of the season and had to skip forced to see if they are reunited before the latest chapter. Skipped to 87- nope. 92- nopety nope. I’m going to go back and read through but it sucks to catch up to 99 chapters of a story whose complicated plot is similar to other manwha but has not moved forward comparatively over the same amount of chapters
