From the start of her life she explained why she wanted to break away from her OG fams indifference. Also, don’t forget she was terminally ill as well in the hospital. Who knows if the game would have reset every from her own world before she found out she had cancer—and if it did—her brothers and dad from her OG world would have stayed the same with no affection or acknowledgement for her until she actually dies from her illness.

like did we read the same series? first of all her soul is a fragment of the real Penelope's, so technically this is her original world. secondly, she found a family here. a father, a brother, a friend, and a lover who'd go through hell for her. she's rich and has a comfortable life. literally what else could she ask for?
if you'd genuinely rather she goes back, does all this communication shit with her stupid ass family again, have dreams of the people she met here and miss them dearly without being able to see them, live without a dime until she can graduate and find a job that probably wouldn't even pay well, all with a broken body that has gone through cancer, then you're dumb. and not just any dumb, but out-of-this-world and annoying dumb.
