The novel is like 60% just Gio cooking; it's a recipe book with plot. But I still highly recommend reading it since the manhwa cuts out a lot of conversations and extra info :D

I love tropes that have a character think they're harmless and scared of everything around them but also be so unaware that they've somewhat become uncanny, eldritch beings.
I heard the novels have a lot of filler? So that means he was living the cottagecore life while people around him were scared shitless XD
