this is what i could gather after reading them and putting it through a translator and connecting the dots and i’ll also try to simplify this as much as possible rn BUT some things could possibly be explained or worded differently once official tl comes out!!!! so there’s a possibility im not 100% right(remember this!!)

original guy comes back but at first he’s all nice and chill but then tries to kill tiger and is basically upset that tiger took his spot(valid ig lol) and something about how tiger didn’t eat him made it so original guy’s soul is stuck in the mountains. he kidnaps female coworker from the restaurant and has geonpil meet up in this place and him and geonpil talk and argue and original guy is obsessed with the old geonpil from before he got injured and lost basically everything because after his injury he got really depressed and su!cidal and original guy knew he was sad but not this much and it’s why(among other things) geonpil has withdrawn(emotionally) so much and he’s scared of getting abandoned or ruining things which is why he tries to maintain this nonchalant attitude even if it affects others around him. geonpil ofc loves tiger but he feels like he owes it to original guy to go with him(and also the fact he’s full of sin; he basically feels like he doesn’t deserve anything) and he also takes accountability and apologizes for being a jerk but you also see that he knew this whole time that original guy didn’t truly love HIM and it hurt him but he tried to ignore it and act like he didn’t see it. i think original guy wanted geonpil to go to the forest with him and so geonpil agrees(out of guilt) and tiger is really upset and even though he’s dying he tries to ask geonpil to stay and says he doesn’t want to be alone anymore. basically none of them want to be alone and all have their own selfish desires that ultimately hurt each other and the hurt has been building up for a long time. both lacked the ability to communicate which is how it led to this. i try to maintain a neutral standpoint so im not favoring one over the other or acting like one is an angel while the other is a devil but i dont think any of them are perfect or “good”.
