Yeah the rule's basically dead at this point. It still says no MTL/AI translations but nobody actually enforces it. That's why I just skip like 90% of new manhwas until they get official translations. Now it's creeping into manga too which is pretty lame
mgos translation standards is such garbage now, it was bad enough with fuckass groups like desire scans, mythtoon etc but now it's leaching onto manga too. no wonder a lot of translators have moved to other sites and for most manga they either stayed with mgdex or upload privately to discord/telegram now. worst part is mgo has no filtering system so you can't filter out certain uploaders to avoid reading the AI scans plus I have to guess now with new uploaders if they're actually translating it themselves or using AI. tho at least AI is pretty easy to spot ╥﹏╥
Fr I'd rather wait for slower releases from an actual translator or group than get flooded with AI slop. The lack of filtering on the site just makes it even worse for sure. If we could block known AI uploaders I wouldn't care nearly as much but instead every new series is a coin flip unless it's from a group I already know. Shit gets old real fast tbh
I wish the dev never removed the report button for uploads cuz it seems like mods only ever do something after multiple people send in email complaints and even then they don't seem to really care anymore. The site is not what it used to be only a few years ago its so sad.
I got excited to see an update after so long just for it to be another AI translation, is this the standard on mgo now? it's bad enough that half the manhwa on here is being translated with AI but now even the manga is. I thought we would be safe away from AI translations for manga but ig not. damn I miss the days when actual people translated works, it feels like there's only a few actual scan groups now a days and the rest is just AI slop.
