Funny question; whats yalls reason for reading yaois with 8.5< rating

I don't even pay attention to the ratings at all, so if I have read any below that rating, that's why. presumably people are deciding to read based on things other than the rating, because the rating can be skewed by so many other factors and because other people's criteria and rating scale for a story will be different from their own. it's not like ratings are any more helpful or objective than any other detail a person could decide to read for.

I don't look at the rating because I know it's unreliable. Most people don't even read what the stars mean so what's the point?

True some reviews r misleading especially the toxic ones that have high ratings

Good point but ngl I like looking at the review’s comments so id know if theres sa or not but ever since the site started deleting lists and disappearing reviews happened i stopped looking for the reviews nd js relied on the number of ratings

so truee some of the mangas r hidden gems the manwhas r the ones that keep being so toxic that i heavily rely on the ratings but thank you for the recommendations :)

Lol the first one I rec just happens to be toxic, and the 2nd one has sa (not done by ml) so yeah ig proceed with caution

i just ignore the rating bc ppl here read stuff they know they arent gonna enjoy then rate it badly therefore i read whatever regardless of rating

rating is useless im gonna do my own opinion on the thing, and when you see that some shyt like jinx get >9 rating you understand quickly that you better read it yourself to know what it's really worth
