I actually read some Kr fans voting for localisation (even while they are unhappy with our situation, so far I’ve seen JPN already. Eurydice has been switched platform (original Postype) so that’s why there haven’t been a lots of signals so I think we will have eng translation& even physical in the near future. Don’t lose hope !!!!
can you explain 'current editorial standards for foreign platforms' , does it not meet them because it's not typical rapeslop goonslop that's on every platform. I'm genuinely curious. NME started in 2021 and is still only available on Kor. Lzn. while the goonslops are getting localized within 3-4 months of being on Korean platforms. Breaks my heart.
Let's get the most obvious out of the way which is the fact that it is a Korean exclusive. There are no plans to push NME out to foreign markets and ima just say that's it's probably because of money and control. BDK barely has a following on twitter and it's been just a year since BDK switched to Lezhin from sites like Postype, and Dillyhub. At that point, the manwha had over 150 chapters and Lezhin had no control over the story board. Until NME starts pumping out money for Lezhin, I doubt it will get an English.
BDK started on post type which is a website that hosts numerous works without actually like being part of a publishing company. It gave them a flexible schedule that I doubt Lezhin would've gave. I think that's one of the reasons why this story is so intricate and Im sure that BDK made a deal with Lezhin to give them that flexibility when it comes to their story. I don't know if Lezhin has much influence on the story but I think it plays into it not getting an official English.
Hey guys, I just wanted to say that NME is never gonna get an official English translation due to the fact that it just doesnt meet current editorial standards for foreign platforms. It's a sad reality, but that's a further reason why posting panels with English in it is a horrible idea. We have this privilege of being able to read NME because of Sage and it would suck if complications came up forcing them to stop. There are multiple instances of authors already finding out about this website like YD, Byeonduck, and cuke_soap. These authors are part of Lezhin and clearly know the work grounds like they did to Bato.
