Comments and rating is low with bad opinion on this but I enjoyed this, everyone is always obsessed about protecting their own reputation but by not reacting she cemented her reputation as kind empress.
Plus the “disrespect”? The other girl was being a bully and wearing red dress, thats some Highschool mean girl stuff and all of the comments are losing their minds about MC not taking her seriously until she actually hurt someone?
Idk. I just enjoyed the female lead being strong and disinterested in their father son spat from the start. She wasn’t doing all of the empress things but be fr, even she tried to do them the emperors would intervene. She still opened school and sent relief aid for disasters, just in her own name rather then in imperial family who are actively trying to use and tear her apart.
It’s crazy how y’all were so quick to point at her when shes here bc the former emperor made her accept the position.
If the emperor ends up being ML I’ll drop this immediately, he doesn’t deserve forgiveness either. Using a woman to do the dirty deeds so he can raise his own position by taking down the faction? Letting the mother of his child / his wife / his wife’s family and even his own mother suffer all because he has daddy issues and he’s coward who couldn’t stand up to him so now it’s his wife’s fault? Yeah cus shes easier target.
Will never forgive him, he could’ve been locked into a room the doors literally being bricked up so he was left starving and I’ll still see him as childish loser who can’t take responsibility for anything
