The red labubu symbolism is so good in this chapter... initially when Sol loses it while waking home in the rain, it represents how the comfort she gets from hanging out with her friends isn't enough/runs out by the time she gets home, and there she is, literally, left with Ayeon but also metaphorically thoughts of Ayeon whenever she's alone and seeking comfort. Then, when they're having a good (romantic) time together, Sol remembers the labubu (her guilt/shame/responsibty to So-i and friends) and goes back to get it, interrupting her time with Ayeon. In the laundromat, her uniform is stained red because of the labubu, Ayeon tells her to throw away the red-stained uniform (her friendship/responsibility towards her friends), and she'll buy her a new one instead (asking her to choose her). Also, Sol is clinging to the red-stained uniform during their argument, and it only falls out of her hand when Ayeon closes in for the kiss (guilt and shame not enough anymore maybe...). It's such a clever way to use it as a catalyst for their conflict.
