The blushes are real, but other than that Lorenzo knows he has to make Rian happy or he and his company are in trouble. The real test will be how he treats Rian once he has the upper hand again.
Enzo didn't stop playing mind games just because Rian is so cute. I think he probably would be the same even when they're in a serious relationship, at least according to the author's teasers~
we've seen him blush many other times, especially when Rian does thing he doesn't expect him to (to be more specific, things that no one else would dare to, in a world where everyone respects him (Enzo) so much), so it doesn't feel out of character imo, just an expansion of the inner turmoil that someone as carefree as Rian makes him feel

I love the blush explanation cuz people calling it out of character clearly didn't understand Enzo's character
Ch 40 is cute but feels a little out of character. The blushing and the cutesy feeling Enzo shows doesn't feel earned at this particular point in the story imo. I like that Adrian is able to be more assertive as the bottom in this chapter tho
