Mostly because they are very surface level and guys on dating apps are there mostly just to f*ck. Don’t try to “find” love there, put yourself out there, if someone interests you, talk to them, if efforts are reciprocated, move on! Don’t feel too burdened.

I mean you'd rather find love or click with someone not through dating apps, people there just want a quickie or shallow relationships, and I went through your profile and read the story of your 2 dates with the guy you went on a date with. I think you're genuinely trying but there's not many good enough people in this who are also looking out for a genuine relationship as you might be. And if you'd like to talk or want a friend then I would be glad to :) I'm 20F, will hit 21 soon hahaha and I have zero dating experience as well but I have friends who have dated/dating so there are a few things I might be able to help you out with.
Sorry again for bringing this up once more on here, but am I the only one that feels stupid by using dating apps. I always feel like I‘m doing a one-sided interview because the guys I match with never ask stuff about me. I’m the one doing all the questioning and they never ask back. Like why do those people even like my profile if they are not interested in getting to know me better? It‘s so frustrating. I wonder if they act like this in real life too or just online. I already see myself dying all by myself
