Also could not help but chuckle at the "you're a good person" and "i thought you were an ex-soldier or an aspiring cop" as if either of those are anywhere near good people

Man the logic in this pisses me off already. "I can't let an injured person drive" chariot shut the fuck up. It's a scratch on his cheek, and you're visibly shaking, which is a WAY worse condition to drive in (do NOT drive when emotions are high if at all possible). Also, maybe let's have the guy with obvious experience with these situations keep his hands on the wheel
