I'm sick of "The ML is all I need" too, especially when you know the ML is the problem, heck he even confessed to you. But the MC still blame himself anyway, I was like alright. But hopefully the MC won't easily settle with the ML. I want the MC to be so sick of the ML like I was.
A guy made a promise to his childhood friend as a kid and doesn't remember it, and now the childhood friend is fixated on him. Honestly I've seen worse fixations, but it does give me the ick when he said he made sure to be friendly to everyone so no one ever interacts with the MC so he's the only one MC has. I had to drop another series for this reason. I actually got anxious when MC finally made another friend and he was worried about self-sabotage and ruining an actual connection outside of the ML. It really devastates me that his life is like this. According to the translator, the author is deliberately trying to portray the ML as negative (thus why it's labeled as psychological), so I do appreciate it. I am curious what the endgame is, since I don't want the MC to feel lonely and push people away or say "ML is all I need," and I definitely need ML to stop the harassment and psychological warfare.
