Also, just for some tips, You already have a better-than-most-average GPA so make sure you're not too stressed out about that. As you know, most colleges are actually looking at YOUR human values and who you are as a person, not a perfectionist.
Although community service hours helps on your application, I would say arguably the most important thing (take it with a grain of salt because this is just my opinion) is the ESSAY. The essays show who you really are, regardless of your academic status, (again, it helps obv.) so you really, really, really need to be a solid writer. My sister got into UCI (a very decent school) with only a 3.3-3.4 GPA and barely any community service hours, but she was AMAZING with how she used her words within, with leads onto my next point about the essay writing.
Finally for some essay tips, write about a niche subject. College admission officers look at hundreds of essays every single day. They could not care any less about how breaking a leg from playing soccer made you realize blah blah blah...or how your grandpa passed away from an illness...Like yes, obviously your grandpa passing away is tragic, but focus on yourself instead of making the essay feel like a sob story. What makes you, you? they could be important to you, but it's almost identical to any other essay they've read.
WRITE ABOUT A SMALL SUBJECT THAT TIES ONTO A BIGGER IDEA/METAPHOR THAT SHAPES WHO YOU ARE
oops sorry, it sounds like I'm shouting but I really want to emphasize that taking a smaller idea and tying it to a bigger one feels a lot more significant. The smaller idea is going to catch their attention first, and then realize there was a deeper meaning as they read further. My sister literally wrote about her hairtie! It could literally be that insignificant. But she ended off with "tying her culture back together" or smth like that in the end as her central idea lol.

Applying to college with a 3.642 GPA, hardly any community service hours, and a lot of EC under my belt. I’ve been on this website for a long time and it’s where I’m most comfortable (as lame as that sounds…I swear I have a life) I’m hoping to get into UW it’s my dream college so please wish me the best guys!!
