Am I the only one who misses the art style from season 1?? They were buffer, and more defined.. now they're twinkified >.<
So glad Shutline has kept its style

Oh woah, really? I really liked the artstyle shift personally. It felt even more dynamic and both of the boys seemed more true to themselves? I dunno I like it more I guess.

and that's okay, but I think the art style before is very distinct and they're very manly, you know what I mean

I agree! It's okay to like the new style, I wish I did too. It's just I really loved the original style and that makes it difficult for me to like the new style. :/

That’s interesting, I’m super interested in anatomy when it comes to art and I personally found the proportions in the earlier drawings to be a bit cringe and slightly disproportionate (top heavy), I think that’s what they call “yaoi proportions” lol. To each their own though. To be fair I wouldn’t have minded their original proportions if they were like, body builders or something. One is an actor and the other is poor, hopping between jobs and living off scraps, not much muscle growth in either fields (to that extent at least). I need to remind myself it’s fiction though lmao.

I think it’s just their art style developing over time and also the drama with shutlines author probably made the author shift in such a way
