Probably her husband schemed and manipulated something to make her hate Gil by misunderstanding or fame him.
I honestly hope so, cuz that u can hate him even more but there are two possibilities in my opinion tho. This or.. it could be some kind of "protection" scheme, because she got pregnant. Idk. But even if it was that... the baby could be passed as Rowan's and she and Gil could've continued being together in secret.
