Dane is going to go into heat and rape him since he is the closest alpha around. After that Dane will also meet Grayson's parents and learn that he wasn't abused as he imagined. The kids are just mental and nearly killed their own omega father out of curiosity so the alpha dad had to sometimes do things like lock them in a room to stop them from literally murdering someone. Grayson will soon start pursuing Dane and ask him for a chance and if he fails to woo him, he'll leave the fire station so, Dane accepts to get rid of him.
After that, there will be an incident towards the end of the story where Dane nearly dies and they get closer after that. That's all I remember
