I’m still laughing at the fact that some people are STILL stuck on the same old narrative, suffering from full-blown "bottom-is-always-the-victim syndrome". Are you guys actually fr claiming Nanjo was forced into having sex?! Are you kidding me right now?! When did Mok EVER force him?! (Except for that second-to-last chapter in S1, when they slept together with Sunhwa right there..that’s the ONE time I’ll fully admit it was actual SA under coercion.)
Mok literally gave him the choice, fully confident he would turn it down on the spot. Even when Nanjo said "I'll think about it" Mok was STILL sure he'd say no! He never expected Nanjo’s savior complex to be so unhinged that he’d voluntarily throw himself into this mess! Threats? Blackmail? Bro, give me a break with that nonsense!!

This absolute idiot Nanjo didn't even know Sunhwa, yet he chose to play the victim just to save him! And honestly, I can't even blame Sunhwa or say he implied Mok was abusing, threatening, or coercing him. All of that was pure delusion built by Nanjo himself! He judged an innocent guy as an abuser and a threat…when Mok was literally just doing what was requested of him to help Nanjo understand Sunhwa's sexual preferences!
But no, Nanjo chose to believe Sunhwa was this pure, innocent angel who couldn't POSSIBLY be a masochist, so the only solution in his mind was to villainize the third party as the root of all evil!
And was that threat even serious?! Did Mok threaten to murder or assault Sunhwa? Did he threaten to expose him? Did he drop ANY threat that had actual weight?! Face reality and admit it: the answer is NO, NO, and NO!!!!!!

Nanjo is a grown-ass adult, a full SIX YEARS older than both of them, AND a successful businessman running a whole company! Which means he has more than enough brain cells to evaluate his goals and calculate the damage to everyone involved -especially himself-! Nanjo did this to HIMSELF... and dumping 100% of the blame on the younger guys is a joke in itself. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!
I’m not saying there was zero manipulation or emotional blackmail. I’m not saying Nanjo didn't get played, and I don't even hate him! But I’m smart enough to see the flaws in ALL THREE characters and call them out when I see them. I'm not gonna let my fan bias blind me to the toxicity of a character I like.

Read between the lines, actually digest the character writing, and drop the conspiracy theories about missing POVs! The author isn't gonna spoon-feed you every character's trauma, thought process, and how they play both victim and villain. The narrative is anchored in Mok’s POV because he is the most emotionally damaged and psychologically unstable one. Showing the story through his eyes helps us see that he’s a villain molded by his environment, not born evil.
If this was told from Nanjo’s or Sunhwa’s perspective, everyone would’ve just blindly accepted that Mok is a total monster! A single POV doesn't erase a smart reader's ability to connect the dots and understand the rest of the characters. We’re not in elementary school waiting for the author to spell out everyone's innocence with a dedicated POV chapter! Stop being so childish and acting like you're galaxy-brained when you're clearly not.

Mfs like you are the reason why forced consent and blaming the victim will always be a thing. F you. Be ashamed. I didn't even bother to read this long ass paragraph you wrote just coz I read the first line coz it's genuinely "should be in an asylum and jail" level crazy to be defending a rapist like that. Actually you should be looked into too. No one who has any common sense or humanity would read or agree w you. Shame shame shame

I don’t even understand why nanjo likes sunhwa that much, like for what? There must be something? I just can’t see it

That’s what I NEED to understand... Idc about Nanjo’s POV as much as I care about the real root behind his savior complex!

Watching this sheer stupidity and total lack of reading comprehension for two whole seasons has straight-up shredded my nerves! I am SO sick of them painting anyone who points out a single factual truth about Nanjo as some disgusting, evil rape-apologist!

I was guessing maybe nanjo have some traumas or issues too? He reminds me kinda of someone who have been doing parentification or someone he lost but i don’t know i might be wrong. He is just giving that emotionally stable and mature vibe ish. ? Especially on how he behaves towards sunhwa but also with mok now

It sucks so bad because all we want is to actually analyze the psychological nuance of the story, but instead we’re stuck dodging moral puritans! The way people bring real-life moral policing into fictional psychological thrillers is insane. Like, if you can’t separate dark fiction from real-life ethics, why are you even reading this genre?! People are out here acting like analyzing a toxic fictional character makes you a bad person in real life. The reading comprehension is literally in the gutter.
Staying out of the comment section is honestly self-care at this point. We’re safe in our little analytical bubble!

Yeah! He definitely went through something that conditioned him to take on the burden of protecting everyone, even when nobody asked him to. It’s giving heavy survivor's guilt or a deep-rooted fear of loss. I’m legit so ready for his backstory drop..really hoping the author doesn't make us wait forever for it.

This is an interesting idea that I’ll have to keep in mind as we learn more, cause yeah—even though Nanjo is the oldest of the three, he definitely acts more stoic and ‘numb’ than expected in all this,, I’m just really curious if we’ll get any flashbacks and/or if he’ll ever outright say whatever thoughts he’s been holding in

I totally agreed with u, I mean when ever I expressed my thoughts about it people started blaming like how can I support a rap*st but too be honest everyone have fault for this situation, MoK maybe have more but that doesn't mean we blame alone him when it's clear how Nanjo and his so called boyfriend have enough faults and I want them too suffering for their karma as well just like MOk does

Literally!! That’s exactly what I’ve been saying all along! Everyone carries a piece of the blame here, and all three of them deserve to face the consequences of their own actions. Acting like Mok is the ONLY guilty one and the only one who deserves to suffer..to the point where some people think everything he’s been through STILL isn't enough and straight-up want him DEAD is pure delusion at this point.

WAHH WAAH WAAH Looks like someone needs to call you a wambulance. Oh namjo shud know better. OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE ONE SHOULD NOT GO AROUND MANIPULATING OTHERS. oh namjo assumed that mok was abusing s. YEAH CUZ HE MAKE IT OUT LIKE THAT. He didn't clear the misunderstanding in the first place because he was only looking for his own benefit aka sleeping with namjo. You know the problem with ppl like you is no matter what you will always find some way or other to blame the victim. In this situation however namjo has the resources to get out of this toxic setup and thank god he did. Mok needs to go to therapy and stop bothering my king

Ummm, or maybe Nanjo could respect Sunhwa's boundaries and ask him why he wanted a threesome in the first place?!
You know, maybe, just maybe, he could assume that Sunhwa was a grown ass adult who knows his own shit, maybe he could ask if Sunhwa needed his sacrifice?! Instead of going behind his back and sleeping with another dude to save somebody who didn't need saving in the first place!!!!!
