just found out the last 2 chapters will be released on october 13 and october 20 and i just rolled my eyes even more. YES, call me dramatic for being angry idcidcidc. ik it’s not the author’s fault and its most likely their publisher making these decisions but im so tired of these short chapters and how often we’ve gotten hiatus’s over and over again. it make’s it difficult to understand the story when every week we end in cliffhangers… so you have to go back and reread the most recent chapters to understand the plot again. i truly believe in giving authors the adequate time so they can release chapters regularly without running into health/burnout issues but the chapters we’ve been getting are just way too short for a 7 day release update. i would rather wait a month for a full chapter to be released than having to read literal crumbs and proceed to go back and forth through chapters to understand what i just read. as i said before, this weird chapter release schedule is most likely the publisher’s decision but it just aggravates me so bad….ESPECIALLY after getting such a mediocre chapter today. (NOT HATING ON THE AUTHOR’S WORK WHATSOEVER!! this is just me criticizing the amount of content we have gotten from the chapter released today. it was around 10 panels and 2 of them were just drawings with no dialogue (there wasnt much dialogue in some of the panels too.) i deadass finished reading this chapter in a blink of an eye. i dont understand whats the point of having so many hiatuses (sometimes stacking up to 2-3 weeks straight of ongoing hiatuses) when we still have to wait around 2 months for the final chapter/s in the end. i may sound ignorant atm but im also a paying customer (yes, i pay for digital and physical releases) so as a consumer, i feel like the quality of chapter length releases is not fair. a dollar per chapter and $10-15 physical manga releases adds up eventually. then again, if anyone wants to educate me on this topic then lmk. i may not understand how the whole publishing process works but im open to corrections. okay guys pls dont kill me in the replies if you read this… im just hangry and sleept asf rn
