I also don't like Carcel, not even a tiny bit. I had to push through the story trying to ignore what kind of a scumbag he actually is. He only married Ines because of that one wet dream and now he can only get an erection from her. What a crappy superficial reason to marry someone is that omg
He is just a red flag trash man. In real life I would advise every woman to avoid someone like him. I'd be scared of catching an STD from that dirty dick. Yuck.
I really really had to fight through the story just for Ines, my lovely Ines. But Carcel ruined the story for me and I dropped it and picked it up repeatedly. I dropped it for some time now. I wish the author hadn't written Carcel like that. Because the art and story are otherwise peak. But NTR is my cryptonite... ugh

I just really hate that they gave Ines this perfect man that loves her and she loves and already had a child because they loved each other so much, supposedly, and then they turn around and make the entire story about Carcel committing spousal rape against Ines but apparently the gods said they were meant to be together so it's all sunshine and rainbows!!!!!

Strong isn't really the correct word I'd use, idk, if I found out the rando I chose as a contract husband for presumably a no feelings attached marriage was obsessed with me, I'd slime myself again and try from the beginning, or pray to God to let me be born a commoner this time.
I personally don't like the story, I skimmed through chapters 2 or 3 at the time and found the sex scenes repulsive, even more after the reveal that Carcel was using birth control, but I read the beginning when I was in high school and lost the chapter I was on so I dropped it for a long time, until now that I went through the first 15 chapters and then skimmed the rest, I just wanted to see where the story went since I had been wondering since back then.
I don't like the "Oh, they were soulmates, they were always meant to be" direction I judged the plot was taking, I dislike Carcel as much as I hate Oscar, maybe even more because Oscar is irrelevant to me. But honestly that's a bias on me hating characters who sleep around with anybody, if he hadn't been a slut I'd be his number one fan.
