I hate passion and I find this one intriguing only because of mc. I wouldn’t say I love it or anything.
But I can’t read the og passion because in that case I don’t even like the mc

well for me there’s no specific reason. i have read the whole novel and i just love their dynamic so much yes apart from the rape part . i really like characters who don’t express their whole feelings with words but with actions and iltae are that type of. as the novel progresses u can really see how much they love and care for each other. also idk but i just loveee ilay

You're good pookie, it's probably just a preference. Personally, I like Raga so much better than passion because their dynamic kinda remind me of a He yu and Xie qingcheng (in some way) from BAB and I just love Yuri and how he unconditionally and how he genuinely is just a good guy who love and care for Xinlu. For the main story, I would say that I find the story entertaining and some what funny because of Taeui (the mc). Honestly I think consuming the memes and videos the fandom makes can help people enjoy the main story more because it really lightens up the reading experience. Taeui and Ilay's dynamic can actually be pretty funny, and I feel like I was able to appreciate that more because of the fandom's edits and meme since the story can be very Wattpad at times, so seeing people joke about it then being able to see it when you read it can help the reading experience. Another aspect of passion that kept me reading is probably seeing Taeui and his twins meeting again and getting to see what their relationship is like.

I love Passion and Raga and it continues to stay my fave. The main thing i like is the build up and tension. Everything that happens in terms of plot was unpredictable and not your usual romance story. Yes the Love interests are deranged and evil but for me that's the appeal. They are so villainous but act out of character when they fall in love lol and ye these stories aren't cut for everyone and that's okay

Nope. Your reasoning is valid. Neither of the MLs is actually that likeable, and I completely understand where your opinion is coming from.

But FOR ME—I feel like Raga is much better than Passion because there are some aspects that make him more likeable and bearable. Like, Xinlu can surprisingly be reasoning with Yuri despite his anger issues. And Yuri draws the line CLEARLY between obsession/possession ≠ love. I also love how easily he can frustrate Xinlu sometimes. I feel like I need to point those two things out because Passion had none of that.

And again, this is JUST MY opinion. Obviously, other people will feel differently.
