Not sure if it's a hot take, but I'm genuinely tired of excessive smut in BLs that are not PWP. Some manhwas would have 80 chapters, 40 of which are just sex. I've seen it all, there's nothing in a sex scene that could make me go "wow, that surprised me". I'm bored, let's go back to the character interactions, the development, the romance. And I don't mind sex scenes, but I think that if you're writing a love story, there should be a time and place for them. I'm so over 3 chapters of plot and 5 of smut. It gets to a point where the protagonists don't know anything about one another and have barely had any bonding time where they talked or did nice things together/for each other, but we're supposed to buy that they're in love just because they're compatible in bed.

in the novel of codename Anastasia, it was never romanticised nor glorification of rape, in fact. It was so gory and disgusting cause it would go in depth of how bad it is. Thats why I was so annoyed but the adaptation of the manhwa, the way the angles, colours and expressions show more of it being 'tame' and almost 'romantic' at times when in the part of the novel, it was one of the most hardest parts for me to read at the time, it ruins the whole 'horror' aspect it had in the first part of the story. The second part of the story (called nameless star volumes 6-10) is more romantic, but had a shit ton of angst, so the romance barely lasted.
