Honestly, the dense-ness of the mc in the beginning part of the story might not be for everyone. She had this misunderstanding about ML having a lover for a good 30+ chapters. But once you get into it, the story really pulls you in, and in the latter half I love how the tone shifts for a good portion to something more eerie and uncomfortable, especially with how the artist drew the father and the evil star
