Now I’m perplexed about the dad. ☹

I feel like he could've been a good dad if he had actually seen how his actions looked from another person's pov.

realizing he had <10% genuine affection for his kid did not at all affect my impression of him lol. the narcissism, neglect, manipulation, emotional and verbal abuse, and 2.5 decades straight of not once reflecting on his actions.
