apparently youngjo will be making a comeback in s6? im conflicted! on one hand, i've been waiting for their reunion, but on another i get so anguished over his character. i can appreciate his writing, don't get me wrong, and he's written so realistically it honestly works against my better judgement -- he reminds me of many men i know in my life whom i dislike. hard for me to mentally distinguish the two and with how much pain he's caused to garam. it was also a shock to me how many people in this fandom like youngjo -- but it's a pleasant surprise, i'm glad that people don't just resort to hating on him because he played the role of an antagonist

also, am i the only one sad over how compton's arc was resolved? i'm aware he treated his orchestral members horribly and was projecting his unresolved rage on them for years, but he was a mentally tormented man who wanted to find solace in shared trauma and for the professor to run a smear campaign on him and force a hiatus on his conducting is really cruel. idk, compton really grew on me, and this may just be a side effect of reading from garam's perspective for 200 chapters but i can't find it in myself to hate him.
