Lol I feel you, girl... but, in his shoes if I was myself stuck with that choice between those three options (Option ONE: immediate marriage to imperial princess that I don't want but whom I will always have to obey for the rest of my life; Option TWO: immediate marriage to aristocratic girl that I also don't want, but whom I need just in order to escape option ONE, and whom i will always have to compromise with, for the rest of my life, ...and, finally, Option THREE: brief fling with pretty girl that I like and with whom I can be free to be myself and do whatever I want for a change, before I *inevitably* get forced to abandon her in order to marry either of the other women in the other two options that others have chosen for me...) ...I'm sorry but, I'm afraid I would ALSO have ended up choosing Option THREE... no matter how deceitful OR brief... I mean, this dude practically walks around with a face screaming "life's depressing and tedious," for ef sake.
