All of their reaction is understandable. I get why the dad wants to get Michael married bc having both sons alive is better than 1. He cares for them. But his tackless way of saying him and vivi is “just an arrange marriage anyway” is obviously pretty shtty. Everyone knows they were inlove with each other. He hasn’t even fully mourn her death yet. Carcel doing whatever he can and understands that Michael also knows what they’re planning which was why he injured himself to delay the marriage. God, can’t the escalante family catch a break.
