Suae REJECTED Dohwa. She will NEVER go to him, and she has NEVER liked him. Rather than 'indecisiveness,' it’s Eunhyuk’s depression driving his actions. Victimization? Really? Do you actually understand how debilitating mental illness is? His mother died and he blamed himself for not protecting her from his father's infidelity, on top of dealing with an abusive piece of shit father. Do you expect him to just be completely unaffected by all of that? Try extending even a modicum of the sympathy you reserve for Dohwa to Eunhyuk. He firmly believes he isn't worthy of anything good and mistakenly thought isolating himself was 'protecting' Suae. Was it wrong? Yes, and now he knows he hurt her. But he will start opening up to her now. The story is coming to an end, and this final arc is intended to resolve the misunderstandings between Eunhyuk and Suae. We're only 5 chapters into the return, so expecting built up misunderstandings to disappear overnight isn't realistic. Try having some patience.

I’ve literally been feeling and saying the same exact shit since the time skip has happened like omfg people love picking sides, and yk what to each their own bc the time skip did fuck with us BAD so I get it. But damn mental health really gets looked over when it’s happening to someone they stopped giving a fuck about, and just like you said if people actually gave some sympathy they have towards dowha to Eunhyuk then just maybe people can look at what’s happening with a open mind and not focus on who suae should end up with when there’s DEEPER problems that needs to be addressed.

I just hope one day we can see them all be genuinely happy and in a good headspace for once since the season started. That’s all I care about now.

I stay by my opinion and yes he is victimised. Even if you do have depression which is NOW (after the 10yrs jump) he's trying to get into her life. When they were kids and he was only angry he wasn't acting as he should. So the typical behaviour someone has when is depressed IS NOT THIS. So the depression excuse is not working anymore on me, sorry not sorry. Also, the thing you said that i should extend my sympathy to Eunhyuk, i should say the same thing to you for Dohwa. He was always there for Suae, he was helping her and protecting her. He didn't have ANY family in comparison to Eunhyuk and he still made it and had a nice character AS HE SHOULD. So yea... peace yall

You're completely right and i stand by you. Say it louder for the people that don't understand this point of view. The same sympathy they're asking the people to extend to Eunhyuk, someone who was acting hot-cold in his younger days and holding this unexplained rage and now with the diagnosis of "depression" the typical behaviour that needs to be shown-is not and instead he's trying to get into her life like everything is okay but behind the scenes he's acting cowardly again NEEDS to be extended to Dohwa, who was the whole time alone but always ready to help and listen to those is need. The point is that the hate Eunhyuk deserves is valid because he left her all alone without any explanation where someone else is still here waiting to be acknowledged after all that time. That's the whole point and problem. In my opinion it's pretty obvious and clear.

Saying there is a single "typical behavior" for depression is medically incorrect. Since when does mental illness follow one standard? Depression manifests through withdrawal, emotional numbness, and deep unworthiness, which is precisely why Eunhyuk mistakenly believed isolating himself was protecting Suae. Calling high school Eunhyuk "just angry" completely ignores his abusive home life and severe trauma…. Do you genuinely expect a child carrying the guilt of his mother's death while enduring domestic abuse to process emotions like a healthy adult? Furthermore, where is this fictional narrative where Dohwa was Suae's protector? Was it when Eunhyuk protected her in high school, carried her burdens, and taught her to prioritize herself? Or after the timeskip, when Eunhyuk explicitly warned Dohwa about the media after he stepped in to stop the paparazzi? Dohwa’s careless public behavior is the exact reason the scandal erupted, directly resulting in Suae getting attacked and hospitalized in the first place, so how exactly was he protecting her? When Suae was in the hospital, who was actually trying to reach her? Eunhyuk was calling her repeatedly, which is why the hospital reached out to him as her emergency contact. Even before Eunhyuk called her and this situation, Suae explicitly texted and called Dohwa first, and what did Dohwa do? He completely ghosted her. Dohwa also dealt with an abusive father, but pointing out that he reacted differently doesn't invalidate Eunhyuk's trauma. Trauma is not a competition, and people process abuse in completely different ways. Both men were rejected post-timeskip, yet look at their choices: Eunhyuk came back from the US, kept reaching out, and showed up when she actually needed support, while Dohwa vanished for the third time. How can you claim Dohwa was "always there" when his exact pattern after every single rejection is to run away?

Did you even read the chapters, or are you just ignoring canon to justify your hate? Claiming Eunhyuk is 'acting like everything is okay' is a complete lie. He believed Suae had moved on, and it wasn't until chapter 139 that he fully realized the depth of how much his absence hurt her. Because again, he thought he was protecting her. He wasn’t, and he was wrong. His protection was only harming her. Also no one is saying Eunhyuk is innocent or absolved of blame, but acting like he never struggled is dishonest. He spent those ten years frozen in time, suffering alone in the US with debilitating insomnia because he missed Suae so much he couldn't sleep. When he tried to see her at her college, he held back because seeing her happy made him feel his miserable state would only drag her down. And what was Dohwa doing during those same ten years? Did Dohwa reach out to her once? No! Dohwa didn't contact Suae for ten years either, and the only reason they reunited post-timeskip was because Suae deliberately sought him out, all while Dohwa was busy getting into multiple scandal rumors with other female celebrities. How can you claim Dohwa was 'always there waiting to be acknowledged' when he literally ghosted her for a decade and then ghosted her again in the hospital? And then you claim that Eunhyuk's ‘rage’ in high school was ‘unexplained' when he was actively enduring domestic abuse from his father. Eunhyuk used the project as an excuse to see her and returned to Korea specifically to find his way back to her, and now he is holding himself accountable. While Dohwa's default reaction to rejection remains running away. Pretending one man is a saint while ignoring that both were absent for ten years is simply incorrect.
