I think Seojin started to like Cheol more after the hospital visit but the prejudices he received and the internalized homophobia made him wanna run away and then Cheol found him again and Seojin’s own misconception and ignorance about sex made him think they had done it (guess since it’s the 90s he didnt know how men yk) so him thinking that made him pull back and now we are here.
I gathered all of this cause of his actions and the fact he had apparently always been kinda yk and boys made fun of him when he was a kid

Yeah unfortunately it got messy... how I understand this - Seojin realizes that he likes Cheol but Cheol leaves, Seojin feels betrayed and hurt so he tracks him down to do "the same thing that he did to me", which is hump-n-dump, all while he doesn't communicate any of this to Cheol so Cheol thinks he just wants to use him for sex
I honestly don’t understand what’s going on. I mean, the story was pretty good at first, but then suddenly everything got weird. The two of them keep drifting apart and getting close again, and the MC keeps running away without even explaining why or giving any buildup to what’s happening. And none of it even lasts long. Things were going fine when the grandpa was still healthy, but I just don’t understand the direction the story took after he was hospitalized. Everything feels so confusing.
