What novel did you even read?? They clearly got a genuinely happy ending, not a bittersweet one.

Awww, don’t be scared! Trust me, they become a couple who don’t have too many conflicts on their journey toward spending the rest of their lives together. They’re so adorable once they’re finally together

I think i like it. Yuri compromising and Xinliu having the anxiety his lover looking younger and younger like a mermaid. Like what this chapter shows, these two are so different especially in terms of loving someone. They compromised and fill in the gaps.. xinliu being grateful of all the things that happened to him in order to end up with Yuri is also maturity on his part.. it is upsetting that their novel is so short whilst the other one is super long

But don't you think setting up alarm on every hour for phone calls is weird? And Xinlu definitely gets aggressive when Yuuri forgets or misses even one hour. I thought it was a stretch(´-﹏-`；)

Yeah I think this is you misinterpreting things. Xinlu doesn't ever get aggressive over it, he just sulks about it like a puppy.

Like that is NOT aggressive. Xinlu literally punishes him with affection. He's just a clingy boyfriend who wants his boomer to text him more

Also Yuri sets alarms cause it's foreign for him to contact anyone this frequently!!

Like these two are stupid cute! I don't find their ending bittersweet at all
