I felt the exact same way about Xinlu at first. I couldn't stand him. But this story is so much better and more beautifully written than most manhwas out there. He isn't just a shallow bad guy, there is so much complexity to him that completely changed my mind. I haven't read the novel yet, but I am so incredibly excited to see how intensely he is going to love Yuri. Just trust me and keep reading, his character depth and the payoff are so worth it.
I don't understand why Xinlu is so hated or disliked. Everything he does has a reason behind it. Is it because he gets in the way of Passion's main couple, Ilay and Taeui? Because you should know that Xinlu was literally written to bring Iltae together, and the Passion novel series has multiple volumes. What you've read is only the first book. Even without Xinlu, Iltae would have remained in a situationship for years.
Meanwhile, XinYuri have already been dating for three years, and they communicate far better than any of the other couples in Passion.
Or is Xinlu disliked simply because people think he's a bad person, rather than because he supposedly gets in the way of Iltae? Because, seriously, Ilay is far more deserving of being disliked and hated. He's much worse than Xinlu.
I wanted to read this, hoping it was Gable and the weapon making twin (NOT Xinlu) or Kyle and the Uncle. I don't like Xinlu at all, but, I love Mr. Gable... Can someone please give me a spoiler that'll make me disregard my dislike for Xinlu and read it anyway.
