As someone who read the novel and someone who reads novel it is completely normal for author to make this we cannot judge an author how it's stories going to turn out I'm just grateful this is my taste the mc or ml is not naive not weak and y'all I hate it personally so this plot is pretty reasonable for me and I like the pacing too... No hate just love for author although there were times readers don't like I'll think inside the characters minds so that i can empathize them in my own way
This was my comment months ago and I still feel this manhwa getting worse by every chapter.last thing i enjoyed was the side story in that bodyguards perspective...at least it gave a little bit peek into ilay's undefined emotions and internal conflict.
