I forgot what chapter I stopped so I'm rereading from the beginning. I've read this way before the officials were uploaded here so I started reading them only to find out they literally translated Gongja's name to Confucius. I've put up with "name, last name" in other official tls, but changing the MCs name instead of putting a disclaimer "Gongja is what they call confucius in korea" is a bit... off-putting. I know it's not the first name localization I've encountered in media (pokemon, other games, some manga and anime) but this is upsetting me. It's probably the sleep deprivation talking. Also, I'm so used to Gongja since I've read the novel before too. Is this like a valid crashout. I mean, I can read unofficial tls instead, but still, I wish they'd just use the KR names in official tls like they do with JP media.
On a side note, I'm just glad they didn't translate Kim Dokja's name to Reader/Only Child Kim.
