It's not the fault of ML he had feelings for someone else. And he had these feelings for years. So, even if he feels something for the mc he won't understand. Because he is that comfortable with his feelings for his friend.

I know you can’t understand sometimes why you like someone and can’t stop it. But actively leading on the mc by trying to sleep with him, while he like someone else is fucked cuz his intention was to show the mc his reality and break out of his fantasy the intentions weren’t pure coming from the ML. And ofc the mc is also at fault by trying to sleep with ml knowing he has a crush. But my comment isn’t to blame ml. I just understand how the Ml and Mc feel but feel bad esp for the mc bc he was a third option. In high-school he wouldn’t give the mc the time of day which is understandable. But now that they’ve grown up he’s engaging with him and the childhood friend is also in a relationship with the other friend so it doesn’t lead ml to go anywhere else besides mc. You can say ml is also suffering with of his unrequited love and say he wouldn’t have been an option bc his crush only thought of him as a brother. But mc actively watching a guy he likes also having a crush and witnessing their messy drama, while being a side character in there story to me that hurts the most.

I am sorry but nobody is forcing the mc to be with ml. He is not a child but a full grown adult. He can make his own decisions. And after that one intimate situation he never tried to put his hands on mc again. He is being very respectful with the mc. And also u can't just fall out of love just cuz your crush has a partner of his own. As long as he stays in his line. I think it would have been more wrong if he pursued the mc while still being hung up on his ex crush. Ofc I understand that watching mc getting hurt, hurts u too. But it can't be helped. The ml CAN pursue the mc, after he got a closure. Even though the mc was a side character. It's not the ml's fault that the mc fell in love with him. And I am saying this with all due respect.
I feel like mc was the second option bc ml love didn’t work out with his childhood friend. And if the childhood friend’s lover didn’t come back. Ml would’ve still held onto the hope of being something more with his childhood friend. Just unfortunate mc was 4th wheeling this whole drama while actually having feelings for ml who was in this considered “drama” and like yeah he’s starting to notice his feelings but like he also knows mc likes him like what’s his motives for all of this?!?!??
