As someone who has read multiple danmei MTLs (machine translations), I do not have any strong feelings against the faulty or broken AI translations. This was before AI even came into the picture, so it was pretty rudimentary.
That said, selling AI translations is HORRIBLE. Like??? Neither the story nor the translation are your works , what the hell are you even selling???
I do believe shitty translations have a place in the ecosystem, mainly for people like me who don't mind the broken language and just want a gist of what happens next, but trying to profit off doing nothing is bonkers.
these stupid fucking ai translations gotta go. they're running author's creative works into sloppy ai scans. die die die die die no one wants tto read your shitty 'translations' it turns shitty as soon they use ai. instead of pretending to know the language, fuvking learn it if you want to translate tht. OR use a proper ass translation. desirescans, kaizen, mythtoons, nightscans. they have the AUDACITY to make a paywall for their ai slop translations, gtfo. do us a favor and put a gun against your head cause' what else use does it have if you're gonna replace it with AI/GPT.
