literally none. the AI translations are often inaccurate and decrease the overall quality of a story. So many officials are being translated with AI too, so it feels inescapable
Damn I didn’t think officials would be too but now that you mention it I can think of a few recent ones where I’ve raised my eyebrows at certain phrases.
It’s disappointing but like you said inescapable, especially when a lot of these raw (ridi, toonkr, mr blue etc) sites don’t pay their staff properly I can see then offloading translations to AI to cut costs and avoid paying actual people to tl
I completely agree w you, it’s crazy! These days, I find myself preferring to read fan translations when they’re available.
So i know we all have a dislike towards ai tl groups and their constant spamming of ch and dodgy translations, paywalling chapters etc etc… but I was wondering out of the 3 kaizen, myth & desire scans which one do you guys think has slight more accurate translations reading wise???
so that I can stick to one instead of hoping around chapters with varying quality
