I don't think its particularly meaning to erase bisexuality. I think it's quite clear Eugene is attracted to both, however this is his first time even being aware of such fact and I feel as though it's pretty realistic that his mind [as a highschool boy in 2010 USA before gay marriage was even legal nationwide] would specifically jump to "I'm not gay!" rather than questioning being bi in anyway (+ prob not even knowing what bisexuality is)
Ig we'll see though cause maybe it does go that route along with ending his baseball career, though hopefully he continues that as well!
I think it will, tbh; most BLs don't really acknowledge being attracted to both genders, going either "I'm gay" or "I'm just into you" without really exploring it. Since they're throwing out labels, I'd like to see bisexuality acknowledged. And IDK if the time period has anything to do with it, TBH; I was reading a BL that took place in 90s South Korea, but it was extremely easy to forget since the fashion and ideology with gay men seemed similar to modern day--and didn't acknowledge any issues they'd face as gay men. I'm not expecting a 2010s story to really go deep into it.
Fingers crossed on his career, though.

The couple is cute (bi erasure aside), but ch 13 ending with MC not being able to make a career out of the sport he loved and now living with ML is something that really bothers me in BLs; it's very often that friends, family, and school/jobs gets kicked to the curb in favor of the love interest.
