i used to only read straight before, and trust me I used think why would somebody even read bl, what's appealing in that and now I just can't read straight anymore because it doesn't feel interesting. And I also don't read bls if uke is soft or girly or a pushover, so personally for me I think the reason is because of dynamics, for example, no matter how powerful fl is ml gonna save her , and she either acts top cold or too sweet, like a stereotype, and most fls don't get any personality other than kind, pushover or just cold. And mls just fall in love for no reason and directly get obsessed and they were never interested in any women but her, and all nonsense like a blockof wood. But in bls men are not shown like piece of rubbers but with actual feelings and thoughts and are able to freely express. And dynamic is also quite balanced (except if it's not I will not read) and one more thing there is this thing that mls only give gifts ,they only propose and fl is always like no to physical intimacy so... Just women are shown in unrealistic,pure kinda way it pisses me off. But I do have some favourite straight stories where they are good

This is a very common thing and nothing to feel ashamed about. As you said the stories infuriate you and there is reason for that.

The trope of damsel in distress and aggressive and forceful male leads are born out of shaming of women. These stories are like this because women are taught to feel shame for their desires, so in their writing they make the fl a victim, forced into situations she doesn't want, but then learns to love it. It's very gross and rapey.

So a reason why a lot of women like bl is because there is no woman there and men are not taught to feel shame for their desires. Men in bl are allowed to want it.
