Personally, I do believe that the suffering made the reunion sweeter, but the times they were together was cut so short... But GOD was the pain real.... we SUFFERED for sooooo long, it wasn't enough to relieve the pain, so read at your own discretion, it's not worth it if you are looking for the manga that you remember
