That's understandable, it's not like i'm not iffy at times too, but the story has sold me on Sangwoo caring for Bum and i can see how that might not be the case for others.
It's not that I'm completely denying what you think, I'm just done believing or trusting something, I did it in S2 when he calls for Bum in the police car, but then ended up hurting him at the end, I did it before he said that he would've won and I did it when they went skiing which also didn't end up well.
Koogi is throwing shades of his past there and there, but I guess I'm just too curious to finally know what exactly happend.

i just really hope that's the case. the build up is really good, like we saw him in a sort of denial state with how he was treating bum, then testing the waters, then now it seems like he's the one who's needy.
I think you're applying the normal scale of "hurt" to them when the examples you just gave were normal to them. I'm assuming that you mean the rough sex after the skiiing? You have to keep in mind that Sangwoo had never had sex with a guy, he doesn't know how to do all of that. If you look back, he's always been rough and while many viewed it as rape i saw it as that he thought he could just go in and Bum never said it hurt. It actually shows Bum trying to hide the pain because he's happy he got to do it at all. The calls were just another instance of rough sex, yes in this one he was a little pissed, but you have to keep in mind that he kept him around still. He's a serial killer, he almost got caught, but didn't just kill him and be done with it. He's still pleased that Bum chose him and lied for him. Now he's realized that Bum "just isn't her" (his mother) and now he's actually acknowledging Bum as Bum, not as the guy who reminds him of his mother. Bum has become a separate second special person to him.

Talking about emotions, they aren't even legit if Bum already tried to escape several time, but was always brought back against his will. Bum simply doesn't think much of himself and still doesn't realize what the real deal is.

It follows the story's buildup well. We've reached the point where Bum is really important to Sangwoo and now he's being more obvious about it. It's as he said, he thought Bum would like his "present" and didn't want Bum to hate him. He left originally because he was upset that Bum didn't like it and then came back because he was worried Bum would hate him more if he stayed away any longer. I think people got so used to reading into everything early on that now that Sangwoo is literally saying how he's feeling no one believes it's true or they try to read into it. People keep waiting for the big surprise even when crazy shit happens. Bum's uncle was just killed, we saw Bum go a little crazy and we just saw Sangwoo cut up and dispose of Bum's uncle's body while Bum was watching a movie, but people are still thinking that Sangwoo is up to something despite all that just happened and Sangwoo's behavior being supported by the buildup of the story. Their relationship has changed. A lot. He's willing to blow Bum now, judging by his struggle with that earlier, that's a pretty significant thing. I think it means he's finally 100% on board with his feelings for Bum, he's even talking about how he feels out loud, that's crazy.
