I think it’s meant to be either of those things considering his homosexuality and the fact that Wonyoung is heteronormative but I find the ambiguity of it kinda fantastic and how it kinda up to the reader to decide. I love talent authors who can do that whether it’s manhwa or an actual novel

I thought the same thing too, and honestly felt like it was to all three - him, the MC, and the situation itself.
