I know why. Because he is not outright trying to destroy the main character, is not implying that this will include destroying his INNOCENT SON, and he seems to genuinely care for the main character. I, however, am holding off rooting for anyone in the hopes that sensei is somehow wrong about Subaru-kun being involved in his families deaths, or that he changes his mind and both redeem themselves to each other. If he goes overboard though, I will be team Aniki. If they do get together, I want to see Aniki get a true love of his own.
I think when sensei asked Subaru san why did he go this way he puse a little I feel like Subaru San have a reason to be ya group and he also have a sad past and maybe there are other reason but his puse have a big meaning. I just hope for fulffy and happy ending

Hell yeah!, we've all read too many yaoi to know that he ain't gonna end up with Aniki. Sense and Subaru will understand that they were wrong about each other and will be living happily ever after. So, the only thing that can mend my heart is Aniki getting his own story with a much better dude..ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
