People saying the uke here is the definition of slut really need to read the story carefully to understand why he was doing what he was doing. Stop saying shit about him when you can’t even understand him. I’m not a fan of slutty semes and ukes myself too but I really understood him and how he felt that he needed to do what he did. Sure he was misguided but he had also gone through a lot and you understand why he thought that’s how you do things when literally no one told him otherwise. For most of his life he was locked up.He’s a person who has been hurt and betrayed. A person who thinks that no matter what everyone will hurt him and look down on him for being an omega. If they are gonna use him anyway he might as well make use of them too. The seme was the one who taught him how to value himself. I love them both and you all need to understand the story to actually get what the story is portraying. That’s why even in the sequel he tells the other omega not to be become someone like him who stops valuing himself and just keeps getting hurt and keeps destroying himself. From what I understood from the sequel because of the abuse and the medicines he took it’s really difficult for him to get pregnant. I really hope so in the end he does get pregnant because he really deserves it. They both do. The seme is one of the best semes in yaoi and the uke and seme love each other so much. The uke has suffered enough. He deserves to have a full fledged family.

I think this is the issue with some readers. It feels like people want this straight arrow shoujo manga like love story where people never make mistakes and grow. If the uke wasn't like that in this story, then there would be no story in the first place. This is why all the characters play an important part and have meaning - yes this includes the asshole alpha ex. I feel like alot of the growth and change this character (uke) has made is completely overlooked and misunderstood. If you read the sequel, twice he saved the new uke from borderline rape , was still blatantly disrespected by him and in the end didn't bite back because of his own guilt. That takes alot of maturity and strength in my opinion. Sheesh, I wonder if people are this judgemental and inflexible in real life as if they themselves have never made a mistake.

And because of that he is not allowed to redeem himself? Furthermore, the sequel gives way more fillers than what meets the eye. The new uke was extremely judgmental and ended up being his replacement at the orders of their boss, who made it clear the old uke in this first story was no longer useful since becoming a pair. To say that your own supervisor both condoned and instigated this sort of behavior in a world where omegas are not respected is something no one pays attention to when they are judging this character. I think its pretty unfair.

Maybe it is just me but I really fell in love with this character, especially in the sequel. I personally like characters with complicated personalities and backgrounds... :-)
