nah, it's not the Emperor who did the Experiment but Lisian Brother 'the real Villain', the Emperor didn't even know she existed, that's why FL didn't accept his apology cause they have no relationship to forgive and be forgiven. Lisian brother killed Emperor lover/Crown Prince mother brutally, that's why he hated Lisian and treated Libertia like she didn't even existed.

Mc doesn't know it but Libertia is her TRUE unnie, they are actually sisters !
In fact Mc is coming from the fantasy world.
In the past Libertia's mom gave birth not to one saughter but two !
Mc and Libertia were twins, but because of the Emperor who did experiment in his daughters body, Mc who had already a frail body died in her childhood (she had a weak body so nobody knew that she existed in the first place and that there were two princesses).

The last action of Laeticia is when she saw (again thanks to her powers) that Mc was going To die in the other world too, so she brought Mc back to her og world in her own body, to save her again.
Don't know if it's clear, it's so beautiful how Libertia looks cold but actually care so much for her sister, and saved the Mc again and again, trying to give her hapiness. And Mc who doesn't remember anything but call her "Unnie" as if deep inside she knew the truth (⌒▽⌒)
