Ch. 7
They are cute, and I understand that Nathan doesn't actually love his girlfriend, but instead of "roleplaying" dates, he should have broken up with her first at least. That's not a matter of love, that's basic respect
Five chapters in. Ughh, the setting is interesting, but I'm afeaid it's but a backdrop for questionable smut.
Quite a shame.
This is hard to read.
It seems a Cinderella fantasy evolved into something painfully and obnoxiously twisted.
Omega's heat in the ABO universe was never something cute and pretty, but the MC here straight up gets a mental disability with which, given the chance, he could eat trash from the floor and masturbate simultaneously - paying no mind to anyone on the central street in the daylight.
And the sole purpose for ML is to be a safe space for the patient. He will accept, he will love, he will be kind, he will provide, he will do everything.
Well, if it isn't nice.
I feel that... this adaptation doesn't do the novel justice. At all.
Highly recommend Moonflorverse's translation, by the way.
WHAAAAAAA
I knew the adaptation woild be inevitable, bit it's so surreal to actually see it!!
Ahhhh the wait is unbearable
Does anyone know where to read raws?
I wish it was less about oh so evil sister and more about Cain's destroyed reputation and future. There is literally no conflict between his virtuous and batshit crazy yandere sides. I feel that his writing lacks depth and care.
Or maybe I'd expected too much. My bad.
Hmmm, the confession was somewhat unsatisfying. It just... happened.
The romantic development was what kept me still interested. It's a bit hard to be engaged with a political plot when the other side is cartoonishly stupid and evil. Which is very annoying, because the main villainess knows the heroine's weaknesses all too well but still doesn't target them at all after some mild provocation at the beginning.
Well, I guess it's too much to expect more from this kind of stories... Would be nice to witness a competent non-psycho threat for once though!
Well, I do happily eat it up because I like the MC (especially his design, lol), but the pacing is pretty funny. Since I'm not in the mood for serious reading, it gets a pass. Still, almost every plot turn (I can't even say "arc") transition is pure comedy.
We also are not given any real objectives, and just follow along with whatever the author comes up with. It also doesn't feel that the MC truly suffers from consequences of Deculaine's actions, everything solves itself conveniently, blablabla, I can go on and on, Deculaine pretty.
Lmao, I thought it was Your Throne (judged by the cover), and was very confused by the comments
I don't know why you would call this manhwa calm because the chemistry is pretty intense. The chemistry IS the plot, haha.
Exploring inner turmoils of the characters was very enjoyable! Could it have better pacing, less awkward transitions and not so abrupt closing accords? Of course! Still, I had a great time reading it. I'm very grateful to the author who came up with it and wrote two whole persons into existence.
The art in the first chapters wasn't very promising, but I'm glad I've stayed. The setting, roles and decorations are the ones the seasoned reader of such genre would be used to, yet the main pair's dynamic is written decently well.
I wish it would be structured differently though. That 2-year period should have been explored in a greater detail. Giving multiple time-skips in the very first chapter was a choice, too.
UPDATE: AND THE FIRST RUN IS DONE!!
From here on out Mgo should make several runs to load everyone's data correctly and apply bug fixes, so dont worry if your list is still missing some. A full second pass could push it to Feb 4–5, but a partial cleanup run would likely finish around Feb 2–3.
Most of the current issues should fix themselves after the full restoration process is done. Its best to give it at least 2 weeks from now. If after everything finishes and youre still seeing clear errors in your marked mangas, report them to [email protected]
If possible, keep a small log of your observations and what you did, such as:
⠀⠀⠀*whether you re-added, edited, or deleted mangas during restoration
⠀⠀⠀*any repeated issues (random logouts, missing notifs, errors, etc.)
⠀⠀⠀*the other specific errors you noticed
Simply put, keep a log of WHAT YOU DID/OBSERVED and WHEN (use GMT or if in your local time, specify your timezone). The more specific your report is, the easier it is for the devs to trace what went wrong. It helps them replicate your actions so they can actually find and fix the problem
Here's an example log:
2026-01-26 9PM: I noticed my list went missing
2026-01-28 2AM: my list is restoring up to 67
2026-01-28 9PM: I added 10 mangas to my Already Read
2026-01-30 6PM: my restored mangas is stuck at 67
