To be fair- mc seems like he also hates himself for using or attempting to use (depends on how it goes now that the ml caught him in the act) the long haired guy. Seeing as the mc thought to himself âif only we met in a world without the dark tide/virusâ, i think its safe to say that the mc doesnât like himself for doing this either. Heâs also in a desperate situation rn it seems like, with the virus symptoms getting worse. So i think its fair to believe that the mc canât make completely rational and wise decisions right now given his conditions. Irdk tho since its a fictional virus lol
A part of me is also feeling like the long haired dude isnât completely oblivious to the mcâs intentions either. Since the long haired dude is also a chief (which im assuming is the same status as the ml), im inclined to believe that heâs not dense enough to completely fall for the mcâs manipulation and is able to sense a motive behind the mcâs decision. Who knows- maybe this is the long haired dudes plan to âtrapâ the mc and kill a virus holder? And this is the least destructive way in order to not aggravate the mcâs condition and ensure no innocent bystanders get hurt in the process of eliminating him?
