It's basically an entire chapter of Jingi/Myeongil foreplay (≧∀≦)
1) Jingi going to town with nipple play/sucking Myeongil off/fingering him. Myeongil gets frustrated by how gentle/slow he's going lol
2) Jingi has Myeongil suck on his fingers and tells him it's like 'kissing multiple people'
3) Then Myeongil goes in for a real kiss, but Jingi still won't let him. Dude is this what edging feels like? Cmonnnmm! Although Myeongil does put Jingi's fingers back in his mouth to show he REALLY wants that kiss which I think broke Jingi
4) chapter ends with Jingi finally having his dick out and Myeongil pushing him down and climbing on top of him
Man I think this probably my favorite Jingi/Myeongil chapter so far. Just a little foreplay got me on my kneeeees
I actually had that thought too... Like Jingi defaults to fingers in the mouth as a violent form of kissing that was done to him when he was a kid and he does this multiple times with Myeongil (like that one chapter where Myeongil bites his thumb and later you see him kiss the bite mark). It's only now that Myeongil is reclaiming the meaning and showing him it can also be a form of intimacy by willingly sucking on his fingers.
Godddddd they've really done EVERYTHING but kiss lol
The latest chapter's here https://mangahub.ru/read/940595
Continuing from last chapter we find out Myeongil hid Jingi's photos near the window to avoid seizure during the room search. Jingi wants to know why Myeongil keeps helping him, and the latter tells him it's because he's anxious about Jingi's behavior and his desire to die after his revenge is complete. Jingi admits that his plan to die has been ruined by Myeongil -- he admits that he did 'have fun' with Myeongil and that's why he didn't want him to stay in his room. Myeongil says "that must mean you like me" and teases him about it lol and of course Jingi vehemently denies it while both of them are furiously blushing. Jingi then closes the distance and begins to undress Myeongil, telling him to stay still because he plans to make him feel good this man hates confronting his own feelings so bad that he has to show it through sex lol
Buuuuuuut we immediately cut to Heonjae and Myunghoon (Myeongil's lil brother) happily interacting with each other at the park. Myunghoon tells Heonjae about parent visitation day at his school and how he's sad that he doesn't have anyone to support him. Before Heonjae can respond the blind noona (escorted by the little sister) appears and interrupts, "are you Choi Heonjae...?"
And chapter ends there. Lol of course they cut the Jingi/Myeongil interaction at the best part. Are we gonna finally see them kiss? Have normal sex? Both of them need to stop being so stubborn because it's so obvious they both like each other. Ugh I can't wait!
This chapter picks off at Myeongil questioning why Jingi thinks he'll be dead after prison -- this leads to a deep dive into Jingi's past and what he experienced growing up with the uncle. To summarize:
1) As we inferred from ch 67 (door metaphor) Jingi's hair and was dyed and we see the aftermath of one of his SA encounters with the uncle. He regularly meets up with the blind noona we met in S1 and she helps him develop photos, not knowing that they're CSA because she's blind and Jingi never told her anything. He's fond of her because she reminds him of his mom.
2) He didn't go to school growing up, instead he got his GED and went straight to work for the uncle. He rarely gets to visit his mom or see Heonjae due his uncle actively preventing it.
3) During Heonjae's arrest for attacking the coach, Jingi is in the crowd, watching on along with the uncle while internally seething with anger at the latter.
4) We see Jingi being sent to prison for the first time due to the uncle framing him. During his sentence he attempts suicide by slicing open his stomach to bleed to death. When he falls unconscious he wakes up in a hospital bed. The uncle is there and feigns concern. He assures Jingi that he'll give him a comfortable life in prison. Jingi knows he can't die before he kills the uncle so he plays along and tells his uncle that he's OK.
--
DAMN what a chapter. Like we already knew small bits and pieces of Jingi's past but to see it fleshed out like this in chronological order is depressing. The fact that his noona is blind and ignorant to the content within the photos she develop is also tragic. And yes Heonjae had it rough too but I'm not going to compare trauma between the brothers.
Jingi's resolve is clear -- either the uncle kills him or he plans to die after killing his uncle. However with Myeongil thrown into the mix I have a feeling he'll find a new reason to live and make a life for himself post-prison.
Chapter 24 gives a glimpse of Jingi's suicidal history in prison, man the things he's done. I like that his final suicide attempt before getting his shit together was basically parallel to what Heonjae did in CH 81, that's why Jingi wasn't that worried about him dying at all.
I wish the brothers would have a better relationship at the end of the story. Jingi cares so much about Honjae, he says "When I found out how Heonjae was living…I became certain. I have to succeed." He couldn't do it outside, but he tried so hard inside the prison. Kept him alive, had his 20 year sentence reduced. Just the very fact that he can even think of living outside of prison is because of Jingi, and then Honjae's just so hateful and selfish. "You promised me" "You lied to me" "Make me happy". It's always about "me, me, me". Even tried to kill him over Myeongil, I mean yeah he maybe the first person to treat him like he's normal but dude it's not like Myeong had any choice, given that they're basically stuck in one room 24/7. Jingi's not the best brother, but he protected Heonjae the only way he knew how to. Whatever storyline the author has for Heonjae I hope it redeems him cause the cutesy, cry baby act is just not gonna cut it. And that uncle needs to die horribly, I need him to be skinned fr uurrgh he's so disgusting.
This chapter is for the Jingi/Myeongil truthers (me).
After Jingi asks Myeong-il if he should also tell him that he likes him the latter attempts to process the implications of that question. Jingi tells him to "only focus on me" but their moment gets interrupted by a prison guard asking them to leave the locker room (both still half naked lol). On the bus back Jingi jokingly asks Myeong-il if he wants to come back to his cell and Myeong-il, embarrassed, says yes. Jingi, surprised, begins to soften and they hold hands while sleeping against each other.
Cut back to Heonjae on the phone with Myeongil. The grandma freaks out about Heonjae and has kicked him out of the house. Heonjae decides to continue living outside while waiting on Myeongil's release, and the latter asks his grandma to at least feed him until he gets out.
Back in Jingi's cell we see Myeongil has moved back in with him, and there's 2 weeks left until his release. Myeongil let's Jingi know that Heonjae's alive and well. He even invites Jingi to come live with him too after prison, but Jingi believes he's going to die before he gets out.
What a bittersweet chapter. I'm glad to see some good development between Jingi/Myeongil, but worried about the implications of Jingi's comment about dying in prison. I hope igingogi isn't setting Jingi up for a revenge-then-redemption-death arc by killing him after killing his uncle...god I'd probably drop this if that happened.
Heonjae almost kills Jingi but FAILS because Myeongil comes busting in (via flying kick) to stop him. Heonjae makes Myeongil stab him instead so he can finish his prison sentence at the medical ward. He'd rather make it seem like Jingi gravely injured him than go back to the uncle empty-handed. Before Heonjae gets moved to the med ward Myeongil writes his address on his hand so he has a place to go after he gets out of prison.
Spoilers for ch 86 raws (I read on official)
We get a flashback to Heonjae's recovery and release from prison (he was unconscious for 2 weeks). Apparently he got out early because of the uncle. The writing on his hand is Myeongil's address so he spends his post-prison time homeless and grubby while looking for Myeongil's home. He spends his nights sleeping under a newspaper at a park and masturbates with the hand that has the address while imagining Myeongil sucking him off.
Fast forward to present when Myeongil's siblings find Heonjae hiding under an overturned cart. They take him in without telling their grandma and tell him to go shower. Chapter ends with the grandma returning home and the younger brother announcing Heonjae's presence in the bathroom.
I'm still kinda disappointed by how fast we're moving with Heonjae's post-stabbing arc...like I wanted to see more development between Myeongil and Jingi and Myeongil digging into the feud between the two brothers. Jingi is FINALLY starting to realize his own feelings and now we're just hard pivoting to Heonjae's side quest. We might not be back to prison for the next few chapters if this continues
