no bc i love this story for ERIS. shes something this story does so, so good. she's not invincibly badass or incapable of wrong, and its precisely that little moral gray zone that makes her addicting to watch. eris and hellena are literal polar opposites (hell, they have opposing hair and eye colors), but the story is amazing at flipping that dark/light trope and turning the both of them into sympathetic, real girls. girls that want to live: without a prince or anyone. hot take, but anakhin is my least favorite (thats a very high bar) part of this story. though he made the ending all the more bittersweet, id argue that his very existence takes away from my favorite parts of eris. she never needed another to stand on her own, and i think thats what this story is all about.

idk i think the draw of anakin was that he fully let her stand on her own and be herself as opposed to the other 3. yes she didn’t need a man but i feel like he didn’t take over the story at all and he was just a happy addition and showing strong girls don’t need to be chaste/alone to still be strong which i feel like is kinda a common theme. him being a “commoner” or whatever i think was also good bc it was much more reminiscent of our world.
i've read up to like chapter 70 (not considering volumes) of the novel but idk if i'm stupid or the translation is poor but i literally don't understand what's going on. SPOILER: i get that gets yohan mad bc he basically forces him to have dinner with him, then his classmates basically turn on him because yohan and him fall apart. but what i don't get is: do they make up? yohan atttempts to reconcile but jun chooses not to..?

Jun ran off during graduation when he saw Yohan there. He then decided to fly abroad to his parents to put some distance between them. He only returned when university started. Eventually, they only became close again after Yohan actively reached out to him on campus where he then saved him from an attack by Jun-Woo (Juns first love). Yohan got hurt quite badly so Jun visited hin a lot in hospital. Thats how they got close. Jun still think that everything he says is a lie tho and calls him bastards. So they have a love-hate relarionsship. It’s really confusing.

It honestly kind of makes me sick, that I’m so many cases, there’s rape in yaoi. It’s almost like it becomes belittled, because the uke will wake up and just be like “oh well”... you can call it fiction but that’s still wrong. And the fact that it’s always sugar coated with the fact that the uke feels “pleasure” makes it worse.. It all happened way too fast, the way the uke just took it all is so unrealistic, and from the raws, it just looks like he woke up an accepted it. I hope somewhere in the raws with past chapters there was at-least some type of consent...

Well like since there isn’t much info given to us yet, I’d still like to propose a theory. So let’s get the facts straight: Blonde hair is rich and an alpha, black hair is a beta in common society. There’s two possibilities here, either this is a school only for omegas and alphas, but he got in through scholarship, or this is a school for people of higher standard, even if they are beta. Now, let’s set our point of view as if they were in the second possibility, a place where every second gender could enroll; meaning there are other alphas. If this were to be correct, why would blonde hair pick this beta specifically? The manga states that he just likes the smell of betas, but not one specific beta. Could it be he picked black hair because of his vulnerability because he lacks money? I don’t think so. Maybe in reality blonde hair has had or has feeling for black hair and uses this as an excuse? We understand that his family is rich, so it would be easy for them to get him a more complacent and easier to deal with beta, wouldn’t it? I believe that he has or had feelings for black hair and is using the sniffing thing as an excuse.

No worries, she's not evil tho and doesn't really became an antagonist either. But MAJOR SPOILER FL is the ogMargaret. The novel is actually an embellished version the saint wrote. The romance and smut parts were for petty revenge too knowing Margaret would read this lmao how cheeky! This is their 2nd life. Even after Margaret was gone first round, they didn't survive long so the saint used her power to send Margaret to another dimension to better prepare this round. Korean Margaret felt compelled to learn wildness survival out of instinct despite not remembering her previous life. Technically it's 3rd life for her
